Azienda Elettrica di Massagno (AEM) SA, founded in 1925, is a Swiss electric utility operating the medium/low voltage grid, and supplying power to 10.000 end-users in the south part of Switzerland. Since 2017, AEM has made important investments in rolling-out smart meters for distance reading of the electricity consumption of its customers.
