(BEOGRADSKE ELEKTRANE)

“Beogradske elektrane” is a Public Utility Company, which supplies heating and domestic hot water to Belgrade (Serbia). The company was established in 1965 in order to centralise the Belgrade district heating system. BEOELEK possesses 52 heat sources with 2.920 MW heating capacity. Installed consumption of heat energy is 3500 MW. It provides heating to 330,000 apartments and more than 8,600 substations for a total floor area exceeding 21,800,000 square meters (81% residential and 19% commercial space). The total length of the distribution network is 730 km, that is, 1,460 km including the return line.
