CIC energiGUNE is the research center of electrochemical and thermal energy storage, a strategic initiative of the Basque Government. CIC energiGUNE was born in 2011 to generate excellent research in in energy related materials oriented to storage applications, contributing to industrial competitiveness. The development of innovative battery technologies for sustainable mobility is a key line at CICe, working with industrial companies (from local to European level) as strategic partners in the development of new products and processes.
