CNRS/ Laboratory UCCS – Centre National de la Recherche Scientifique – is a state-funded science and technology centre under the French Ministry for Research with around 32,000 agents. The CNRS aims to enhance the advancement in science and technology research to contribute to the scientific, social, economic and cultural progress of France. UCCS is a joint research unit between CNRS, the University of Lille and Centrale Lille based on Villeneuve d’Ascq (FR). Within the project, CNRS is involved in the chemical and chemical engineering parts of the project. This includes the design of different types of catalysts involved in the transformation of CO2 and the light olefins oligomerisation (WP1); the implementation of the catalytic transformations in demonstrators (WP2) and the production of jet fuels (WP1 and WP3).
