Cycling 4 Climate is a foundation that started in Utrecht in 2019.

We organise cycling events to raise awareness about the climate crisis and get people moving in a fun way. The foundation is run by committed volunteers who love cycling and the planet. The Climate Classic is an iconic ride along the 'new coastline' of the Netherlands. In 3 years this ride has become the crown jewel of Cycling 4 Climate. In 2022 more than 1.000 cyclists will appear at the start and similar tours will be organised in Belgium and France. Since this year we also organise a monthly climate trip in a province. In this trip, the participants visit interesting locations where work is being done on the energy transition, circular economy or food transition: to show that it is possible! It is our mission to have Cycling 4 Climate events in all European countries by 2025 at the latest. Because Time Is Our Only Challenge.
