EEM consists of a wide range of facilities that extend in a network throughout Madeira Island and Porto Santo.

The company's headquarters are located in the center of Funchal, more precisely in the east of the city, next to the seafront. Currently, the Funchal Substation, the Electricity Museum, the administrative support services, the consumer support services, some technical support services for the distribution areas and the technical offices are concentrated in the headquarters building.
