FEV Europe is an independent internationally recognised company specialised in the design and development of powertrains, power units and burners as well as a manufacturer of prototypes and instrumentation systems. FEV employs approximately 6,600 employees at different facilities worldwide. Within the project, FEV is responsible for the simulation of the effects of the new fuels onto the combustion in turbines and the impact on emission behaviour (WP4). Furthermore, FEV is using its vast experience with many different fuel types and chemical behaviour of different base chemistries to judge the impact of possible differences in the fuel regarding standard fossil Kerosene.
