The Passive House Institute (IEPD) is an apolitical, voluntary, and interest-based NGO that has been operating since 2005. Our goal is to support construction in a passive standard, architecture and urbanism that is universally environmentally friendly and a sustainable approach to environmental creation.

As a specialized institute, iEPD is committed to the development of sustainable construction and the development of cities into "cities of the future". He has extensive expertise in the main areas of sustainable solutions in architecture, energy efficiency of buildings, energy concepts and sustainable development of cities and neighbourhoods.

The institute acts as a driver of innovation and, together with a multidisciplinary team of experts, works professionally and actively on the transformation of the Slovak construction industry.
