The IsZEB Cluster was founded during 2020 with special focus on the Construction sector, aiming to provide tools and guidelines for the entire lifecycle of a smart zero or positive energy building. Established in the region of Central Macedonia, it offers multiple services, covering the phases of planning, commissioning, construction, renovation, demolition and recycling of buildings and building components.

With focus on smart, zero and positive energy buildings, as active building blocks of the new smart grid paradigm, IsZEB aims to explore in depth how smartness (i.e. SRI) and energy efficiency combine through a unified label.

1a. IsZEB Certify - Buildings’ Smartness Readiness Indicator SRI
• SRI Calculator: Computational tool to perform SRI assessments and issue SRI Certificates according to the European Methodology SRI

1b. IsZEB Certify - Buildings’ Energy Performance EPCs
• Computational tool designed to carry out Buildings Energy Performance assessments and issue EPCs, based on the Greek Regulation for the Energy Performance of Buildings KENAK

1c. IsZEB Certify - Buildings’ Energy Performance & Smartness: A holistic approach IsZEB standard
• Computational tool designed to perform a holistic building performance evaluation of energy efficient and smart buildings, leading to a relevant certification process and granting the respective IsZEB certification badge

2. IsZΕB Charge
• System for converting electric chargers into intelligent interoperable units with remote monitoring and control, through an online platform

3. IsZEB Assist AR
• Online support platform for workers/tradesmen with augmented reality technologies
