A future in which we respect the carrying capacity of the earth and in which everyone is well-off: that will come if we build it. As citizens of Mechelen and the Rivierenland, we join forces, because together we achieve more than alone.

We are the citizens' movement Klimaan vzw. We are a lively network of enterprising people and positive initiatives, in which helping hands are always welcome and in which your ideas also have a place.

We work closely with the energy cooperative Klimaan cvso, which focuses on local climate projects in which we invest together. In the meantime, projects have been realized in Bonheiden, Sint-Katelijne-Waver, Zemst and Boortmeerbeek. Through Zonnewijzer, Klimaan cvso provides advice on and organizes a joint purchase of solar panels and home batteries.
