Company overview
The Foundation for Human Electrical Engineering (HUMEA) started its operation in 1995. The initial main objective of the foundation was to help the study opportunities of the students of the Department of High Voltage Engineering and Equipment (currently known as the Department of Electric Power Engineering, High Voltage Technology and Equipment Group) and to support their work.
In the past decades, our Foundation has led a number of successful initiatives in the spirit of supporting the scientific culture and knowledge of electroengineering, in the spirit of the Articles of Association. It supported the high-quality research and development work of students and researchers, and rewarded practical practitioners of electrical engineering through tenders. In addition, our foundation participated in the publication of professional books, notes, educational materials, and in the organization of professional trainings.
The Foundation for Human Electrical Engineering works in close cooperation with the BME High Voltage Technology and Equipment Group. The foundation supports the research carried out in BME's High Voltage Laboratory and the modernization of the Laboratory. Within the framework of the cooperation, our foundation participates in projects such as the development of new environmentally friendly technologies, the adaptation of existing environmentally friendly technologies, and the mitigation of the negative effects of electromagnetic fields on the human body. In addition, the Foundation also participates in international research and development (R+D) projects.
