The expertise of the Laboratory for Water Biophysics and Membrane Processes lies in the characterization and implementation of membrane-based water treatment processes including forward osmosis (FO) and reverse osmosis processes, as well as the zeta potential analysis of the planar surfaces. They are involved in the selection and optimization of the draw solutions for the FO and testing of the fabricated membranes.
