MGL specializes in modeling and simulation of electric fleets and charging systems. Using a proprietary fleet-as-a-system approach, both electric vehicle fit to local operating environment, and charging system size, are optimized to minimize costs and derisk deployments.  

Our core competence relies on domain expertise in electric vehicles, fleet operations, charging strategy, and energy infrastructure including onsite distributed energy resources and microgrids. Our core technology is licensed from federal labs and further developed through a series of federal grants positioning MGL as a leading research, development, and deployment partner. 

MGL’s mission is to provide fleet operators, their engineering firms, and their electric serving utility with cloud-based scenario planning tool kit to allow for plan updates as technology or procurement decisions change over the life of fleet transition. A robust fleet transition plan is the first step to guide reliable build/deploy phases, and a platform to model service or schedule changes keeps that plan on track without disruption.
