Next Kraftwerke operates one of the biggest Virtual Power Plants (VPP) in Europe. The VPP bundles about 10,000 medium- and small-scale power producing, consuming or storage units. By aggregating their clients' units the company has created a sizeable digital platform which allows for forecasting, trading, and optimized automated dispatching. By sharing their knowledge and experience through the VPP as a service NEMOCS, Next Kraftwerke also enables third parties to build up their own Virtual Power Plant.
