Samsø is a Danish island off the Jutland Peninsula. In 1998, the local government turned a dream into a goal, to become self-sufficient trough energy efficiencies and the use of renewable energy. Active nationwide in the technical and financial management of energy investments, in recent years they have been an important player in the transformation that has led Italy to become one of the world's leading countries in the production of energy from renewable sources.
