SEACSUB SPA is an Italian company, leader in the diving sector. The company has a product portfolio of almost 4.000 products and 2.000 components. SEAC started a process of re-nationalizing of its production process. It acquired moulding machines to produce plastic components and products such as fins, masks, and thermoplastic components. This investment is extremely strategic as it allows SEAC to have an even deeper control on products’ customization and quality assurance processes, but represents a challenges since the company’s energy consumption drastically increased.
