Since 2009, SkyNRG has been building up SAF capacity and production for the industry to meet its 2050 net-zero commitment. SkyNRG has supplied SAF to over 40 airlines across the world and is now developing dedicated SAF production facilities to support the transition from fossil jet fuel to sustainable aviation fuel.

Within the project TAKE-OFF, SkyNRG reports on the suitability of the fuel produced during the project for usage in aeronautic applications within WP4. For this, SkyNRG is analysing the fuel on the most important parameters for ASTM approval and informing the consortium on the necessary steps to pursue ASTM certification of the fuel in the next phase.
