We are responsible for national transmission grid (NTG) planning, development and maintenance activities, as well as for managing the electricity flows that pass through it. We ensure that the supply of electricity released into the grid constantly matches demand in terms of electricity consumption. Dispatching is the set of activities necessary to maintain this balance, 365 days a year, 24 hours a day. In addition to this, we plan and develop the grid following a ten-year development plan.

Regulated activities represent the Group’s core business, but we also perform non-regulated activities in support of the energy transition, as an energy solutions provider and through international activities. We export our skills and the technological know-how developed in Italy, making it available to international operators for the development of electricity grids and the management of complex systems, transmission, the integration of renewable sources and storage systems.
