UNIPI - Università di Pisa University of Pisa has a vast expertise in fields such as reliability, risk, resilience and sustainability of structures and infrastructures, seismic assessment of existing structures, SHM. UNIPI (Laboratory ASTRO) has also extended expertise in survey analysis techniques, like photogrammetry and laser scanning, and development of automatic approaches to 3D reconstruction of Heritage- Building Information Models (HBIM) from point clouds.

UNIPI is also very active in development of International Standards, like CEN/TC250 “Structural Eurocodes”, chairing CEN/TC250/SC10, CEN/TC250/HG-B, CEN/TC250/AHG (Ad-Hoc Group) Crane supporting structures, and Project Team on Climatic actions and effects of Climate change.
