ZAG is a research institute in the field of building physics and digital technologies in the construction sector. ZAG established a Horizontal group Digitalization (formerly BIM) 5 years ago and has been board member of the Slovenian BIM association (siBIM). ZAG is also active in the Slovenian standardization groups (SIST) devoted to BIM and other standards. ZAG’s research and testing activities take place in materials, building physics, structures, geotechnics and infrastructure and meteorology. ZAG expertise spans from energy efficiency in buildings, sustainability analysis (carbon footprint, LCA, LCCA), till structural testing, SHM, sensors, BIM, HBIM, IFC/MVD.
