Your Summit Experience

The Summit dives into the forces shaping - and testing - Europe’s energy future.

Across three dynamic spaces - the Inspire Stage, the Evolve Stage, and the Connect Area - attendees can explore urgent themes through bold panels, sharp insights, and real-world experiences.

But it’s not just about what’s said on stage. It’s about who delegates can meet and connect with.

At the Summit, delegates are in the right place, with the right people - where conversations with decision-makers spark partnerships, and connections drive the energy transition forward.

WHAT'S INCLUDED IN YOUR PASS

- All Summit stages - Exclusive lounges and networking areas - Delegate-only sessions and roundtables - Lunch, coffee, refreshments and receptions - Access to the Expo

A GLIMPSE INTO VIENNA

Geopolitics are currently having a profound impact on the energy sector globally, and we’re seeing the energy transition, especially in Europe, broadening out from its original climate change objectives to encompass industrial competitiveness and energy security. The 2026 Summit will focus on these three themes, with thought leaders and C-level experts gathering to brainstorm, discuss, debate and strategise on current industry challenges, such as electrification vs. competitiveness, technology sovereignty for critical infrastructure, cyber resilience, investment, supply chain constraints, boosting innovation, and more.

2026 Summit Topics

These are some of the themes that will power the Summit in Vienna.

Greater Cross-sector Integration

Integration right across the energy value chain and beyond is being recognised as key to strengthening competitiveness, resilience and keeping our climate goals on track. This theme is the overarching one of the 2026 event, including the Opening Keynote.

European Competitiveness

The EU's "Made in Europe" initiative aims to boost domestic manufacturing as part of efforts to address squeezed supply chains. Under this theme, experts explore how to navigate the thin line between openness and protectionism in the ‘Made in Europe: Going Beyond the Label’ session.

Austria's Energy Transition

Austria is a leader in renewable-based electricity, and it has ambitious targets of a 100% renewable electricity supply by 2030 and climate neutrality by 2040. Hear from local stakeholders about progress and what is next in our ‘What’s Next in Austria's Energy Transition?’ session.

Capitalising on Flexibility

To have an energy system that is as flexible as possible on both the supply and demand sides remains a major objective for the industry. Under this theme, experts examine how to address the widening gap between distributed asset, such as PV and EVs and how to extract the most flexibility value out of them in the ‘Optimising DERs to Unleash Full Flexibility’ session.

Data Centres & The Grid

As we continue to grow data centre assets, especially AI-based ones, the unprecedented strain they are putting on the power grids is arguably one of the hottest topics facing the industry. Hear how grid operators with the help of solution providers are addressing this issue in our ‘Tackling the Grid Impact of Data Centres’ session.

Renewable Gases’ Role

Although electrification is the direction of travel for a low-carbon future, it’s important to recognise that renewable gases also have a role to play, especially in hard-to-abate industries. Under this theme, experts will explore how electricity and gas sectors can effectively work together to support the industry competitiveness in the 'Electrification, Gas, and Industrial Competitiveness' session.

Networking at the Summit

If you only have one chance this year to meet the right people: this is it.

Step Into the Room: at the Summit, you’re shoulder to shoulder with the people shaping the future of energy. The Summit pass not only gets delegates in the room with Europe’s energy leaders, it unlocks a full menu of networking opportunities.

Pre-register to get notified when registration opens and you can book your Summit Pass to secure your spot.

The Connect Area

The Connect Area is the heartbeat of the Summit, where every handshake holds the opportunity to spark your next big collaboration. Delegates had to save room in their agenda to:

  • Sip & Socialise during two daily coffee breaks
  • Enjoy lunch on all three days
  • Raise their glass during the Summit-only cocktail receptions on days 1 and 2

The Think Tank

Delegates can close their three days at Enlit Europe with the Think Tank Workshop and networking lunch.

With a different topic every year, delegates work with industry leaders to discuss energy challenges and create actionable solutions to move the energy transition forward.

And their names are featured in the following year’s published report.

The Attendee List

At Enlit, delegates gain knowledge they don't know is out there and meet people they don't know they need to meet.

Who attended last year?

The Event App

Turn Enlit Europe into your best networking experience.

The event networking app gives delegates the attendee list, the option to book meetings, and is their personal event guide so they could plan ahead, connect with the right people, and make every moment count.

Think Tank Workshop

Your Summit pass gives you access to the Think Tank Workshop, the birthplace of Enlit’s annual report.

This year’s report, "Pathways to resilience: From risk to readiness in energy systems", presents actionable solutions to Europe's energy system resilience challenges, highlighting a critical reality: Europe’s energy system remains robust at the organisational level in many places, but less resilient at the system level.

Based on real-life experiences from energy experts, the solutions presented in this report were gathered during the 2025 industry survey and discussions at the Think Tank workshop during Enlit Europe 2025 in Bilbao.
