Daniele Arenga

Daniele Arenga is a research analyst for IDC's Energy Insights European team. In this role, he develops quantitative and qualitative market research on utilities asset operations, new energy, decarbonization and electrification, and utility ecosystems. Arenga holds a master's in Environmental and Energy Economics from the Università degli Studi di Milano (Italy), where he focused, among others things, on empirical energy economics and the economic impact of climate change. Before joining IDC, he worked at BTO Research as IT Business Analyst supporting the application maintenance area for a major client, and previously as a back-office operator at Innovaway as part of the application testing team. Arenga is based in Milan, is fluent in Italian and English, and knows basic Spanish.
