Public Law & Environment Specialist, working mainly in the fields of Energy & Natural Resources, Sustainability, Oceans and Spatial Planning, but also with extended experience in Public Procurement, Transportation, Infrastructures, Defense Industries, and all matters of regulatory importance, with a relevant international practice (Mozambique, Angola and Timor-Leste).

Graduated in Law in 1993 by the Lisbon Faculty of Law I have started my practice that same year as a trainee at Abreu Advogados, where I became Partner back in 2002 and currently in the Executive Board of this law firm. In 1994-95 I took an internship at the Environmental and Local Powers Direction of the Council of Europe, in Strasbourg, and at the same time concluded a Master in Environmental and Spatial Planning Law (D.E.S.S.) at the University of Strasbourg Robert Schuman, and post graduate studies on Pollution and Nuisances at the Faculty of Sciences.
Between 2002 and 2003 I served in the Portuguese Government as Chief of Staff for the Secretary of State for Spatial Planning and Nature Conservation.
