Juan Luis Martin Ruiz

Juan Luis has 26 years of experience on Telco, Energy & Utilities and R&D sectors. He worked over 10 years on different projects as an expert in solutions and operation support systems for the international subsidiaries of Telefónica Group, one of the main worldwide-integrated telco companies, heading a number of R&D initiatives for new telecom solutions and E2E broadband services. When joined Indra in 2007, he worked on the Energy and Utilities sector as responsible for Service Provisioning solutions for the Unión Fenosa group (now Naturgy). At that time, he participated in a number of R&D initiatives in the field of Utilities, with focus on Smart Grids and Smart Metering, becoming the Global Offering Director for utilities some years later. Since 2019, he is leading the expansion of Minsait, the Information Technology company of the Indra Group across Middle East and Asia on the Energy&Utilities sector. Juan Luis also held the position of R&D Director of Indra for 4 years, with an important focus on leading different international R&D programs, and has held several Board positions in European Industrial R&D Associations.
