Richard Hartman

As Chief Innovation Officer within the US Air Force Office of Energy Assurance, Dr. Hartman is responsible for energy security initiatives for the Air and Space Force. As CINO, he identifies and develops strategies to deploy innovative solutions to enhance energy resilience worldwide with global partners in academia, industry, and government(s) through partnerships to get energy resilience projects approved, solicited, and/or built. He holds a Ph.D. in policy and management and has held adjunct faculty positions at George Washington University and Georgetown University and a board member to various public and private sector boards where he advises start-ups as well as established companies.
