Felipe Acosta

CEO and C-level executive in energy, multi-utilities, and high-performance software for 29 years, leading transformation processes in regulated and unregulated environments in the electricity, gas, water, and technology sectors. I have developed my career in Colombia, Latin America, Italy, and Spain, holding responsibilities at the local, national, regional, and multinational levels. Currently, I am the Vice President of Business Development for the Europe, Middle East, and Africa region at Open Intelligence, a company specializing in developing mission-critical software with embedded AI for all business processes of energy, gas, water, and telecommunications companies. Among other roles, I have served as General Manager of Enel Colombia, Commercial Director of Endesa Colombia, Regulatory Director of Endesa Colombia, Energy Transformation Director of Endesa Spain, and Global Director of Commercial Operations for the Enel holding company's distribution division in Rome. With multidisciplinary teams, I have turned strategy into execution: integrating regulation, technology and client needs, and coordinating key actors, such as: shareholders, investors, regulators, national and local governments, communities and multicultural work teams.
