Beatrice Petrovich

Beatrice is Senior Energy Analyst in the Europe team of Ember, a global energy think tank that aims to accelerate the clean energy transition with data and policy. Beatrice has over ten years of professional experience in the energy sector as a consultant, researcher, and lecturer, working in Switzerland, the UK, Italy, and international R&D projects. Before joining Ember, Beatrice was a senior researcher at the Institute for Economy and the Environment at the University of St.Gallen, investigating citizens' and investors' preferences for clean and local energy solutions, including residential solar and energy communities. Before that, she was a research fellow at the Oxford Institute for Energy Studies and an energy consultant, deep-diving into energy market regulation and energy trading. Beatrice holds a MSc. in Economics, and a Ph.D. from the Chair for Management of Renewable Energies at the University of St.Gallen.
