I am a commercial and market-expansion leader with 20+ years of executive and regional leadership experience across the renewable energy, technology, and infrastructure sectors in Africa. I specialize in building and scaling markets, leading regional growth strategies, and structuring long-term partnerships with EPCs, developers, utilities, investors, and government stakeholders. My experience includes full P&L responsibility, multi-country market entry, executive-level negotiations, and leadership of cross-functional, multicultural teams. I have held Managing Director and General Manager (VP-equivalent) roles and currently lead African market development within the renewable energy sector, supporting utility-scale and commercial & industrial solar projects. I work closely with EPC contractors and developers to support projects with solar PV mounting structures and tracker systems for utility-scale and C&I installations. Supporting EPC partners with bankable technical solutions for competitive solar project bids. Working at the intersection of developers, EPC partners, and international renewable energy investment networks. Engaged in market discussions around multi-hundred-megawatt and gigawatt-scale renewable energy developments across Africa. I hold a Doctor of Business Administration (DBA) and multiple master’s degrees, and I work at the intersection of African energy markets and international technical and investment standards, with a long-term focus on sustainable energy and resilient infrastructure development.
