Christian Zwittnig

Christian Zwittnig is Head of Communications at Oesterreichs Energie, the Association of Austrian Electricity Companies, representing around 140 utilities and electricity sector companies. The organization serves as the central advocacy platform for Austria's electricity industry and works closely with policymakers, regulators and stakeholders to support a secure, sustainable and affordable energy system. In his role, he leads communication strategy, media relations and crisis communication, advising senior leadership on positioning and stakeholder engagement in the context of the energy transition and Europe's evolving energy policy landscape. He has extensive experience in strategic communications across the media, consulting and nonprofit sectors. He holds an Executive Global Master's in Management from the London School of Economics and Political Science and a degree in Communication Science and Philosophy from the University of Vienna.
