Susanne Windischberger
Dipl.-Ing. Dr. Susanne Windischberger studied technical Physics at the technical University Vienna (1992-1998). She completed her PhD on the topic of high temperature superconductivity at the Atomic Institute of the Austrian Universities in 2000. Till 2002 she was research assistant ant the Atomic Institute of the Austrian Universities and Johannes Kepler Universität, Linz. 2002 she started at Knowles Electronics developing speakers for mobile phones and investigating new methods for sound generation. She has experience in finite element simulation methods, material sciences and acoustics. Since 2004 she was group leader of the predevelopment group. 2014 Windischberger started to work at the AIT Austrian Institute of Technology, Energy Department, where firstly she was responsible for the strategy process of the department as Assistant to the Head of Department. 2014-2016 she was Personal Representative at the European Energy Research Alliance (EERA). Since 2016 Windischberger works in the Electric Energy Systems Unit of the Energy Departments as Research Engineer. 2017-2025 Susanne led the secretariat of the IEA TCP International Smart Grid Action Network (ISGAN).
