Paco Albert Guzmán

Paco Albert is an executive with extensive experience in energy and business. Since 2021, he has been Strategy & CFO of Octopus Energy in Spain. In 2005 he joined the professional services firm PwC, where he remained for 10 years in different roles, his last position being Senior Manager. In 2015 he held the position of CFO at Alcanzia Energía. In 2016 he co-founded Solver Machine Learning, serving as CEO until the end of 2020. In 2019 he assumed the position of CFO and Founder of Umeme Energía, which he held until August 2021, when it was acquired by Octopus group. Additionally, he has collaborated as a speaker/professor with different educational centres and universities such as EDEM Escuela de Empresarios, CEF Centro de Estudios Financieros, University of Valencia, or Polytechnic University of Valencia. Regarding his academic background, Paco completed the Executive MBA at ESADE in the 2011-2012 promotion, apart from obtaining a Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration and Management at the Polytechnic University of Valencia. In addition, he has participated in the PDG Programme at IESE Business School in 2021 and is a Certified Account Auditor (ROAC) by the ICAC.
