Richard Vidlicka

Before joining CEZ Group in 2004 he was employed in both private and civil sector - predominately in project management. In ČEZ Distribuce a. s., he was responsible for investment in the Central distribution region and then he worked as the Head of Budgeting and Standardization. In February 2010 he was appointed Chairman of the Board and General Director. Since September 2018 he has been working in the holdings mother company ČEZ, A.S., where he is responsible for innovations and international grid projects. Richard can use large experiences from pilot projects implemented under initiatives as GRID4EU, Grid+, Intensys4EU OneNet etc. Among others he is a member of the Board of Directors of EDSO (European Association of DSO´s based in Brussels), where he chairs Innovation and Research Committee. Richard is also active in the Eurelectric – he has been worked as a vice chairman of Market Facilitation and Distribution Committee and participates in the regional cluster of ETIP SNET. Since 2021 he has been taking Vice Chair position in EU DSO Entity Country Expert Group.
