caREL
About: caREL -computer aided Renewable Energy Language- aims to enable everyone in Europe to perform an automated potential analysis to identify the best and most profitable locations for wind and solar power. Our methodology works with freely available data, in particular with INSPIRE data, which is provided uniformly throughout Europe since 2021.

Looking for: caREL is a digital method at the interface of geoinformatics and land management and the automated potential analyses are a prerequisite for the implementation of the European Green Deal and the achievement of European climate targets. We intend to disseminate this knowledge throughout Europe.
