EnerTEF (Common European-scale Energy Artificial Intelligence Federated Testing and Experimentation Facility) is a pan-European initiative accelerating the deployment of trustworthy AI in the energy sector. By providing a federated Testing and Experimentation Facility (TEF) with five main and three satellite nodes across Europe, EnerTEF enables innovators, from start-ups to SMEs, to validate, refine, and scale their AI solutions in real-world energy environments. Beyond testing, EnerTEF connects developers with major energy players, creating partnerships that shorten time-to-market and drive impact. Aligned with EU initiatives such as the Common European Energy Data Space and the AI-on-Demand platform, EnerTEF ensures interoperability, compliance, and visibility across Europe’s energy and AI ecosystems.
