GICO

As climate change poses an increasing danger to people around the world, many industries are looking for new forms of green energy or trying to improve current ones. With this idea, the project financed with European funds GICO will overcome the main challenges that prevent renewable energies from becoming the central axis of the energy system. To achieve this, the project will advance in the development of new materials and technologies. The list includes sorbents for high-temperature inorganic removal, sorbents for CO2 capture, hydrothermal carbonization, and adsorption-enhanced gasification. It will also develop small and medium-scale biomass power plants to improve people's perception of power plants.
