HEROES

HEROES aims to develop and demonstrate a hybrid high power/high energy stationary storage system for fast charging of electric vehicles in the low voltage grid. The system will combine a state-of-the-art Li-ion capacitor with Li-ion batteries to store high amounts of energy, bringing a higher efficiency and better performance of the system, as well as longer battery life, prioritising sustainability. The HEROES system will be a key enabler for the widespread fast charging of EVs, cost-effectively, without the need for major investments in the grid.Looking for sharing information about the project with stakeholders involved in the electric vehicle market.Duration: 01/05/2017 - 30/04/2020
