HIGFLY

The EU-funded HIGFLY project plans to develop advanced technologies for producing jet fuels from abundant and sustainable biomass feedstocks. The research will also be geared towards developing highly efficient and scalable reactor and separation technologies for bio jet fuel production in a cost-effective way. Project activities have the potential to increase the total share of advanced biofuels in the EU jet fuel market. The project consortium combines experts along the entire value chain, from researchers to end-users, to accelerate the market uptake of biobased sustainable aviation fuels (SAF).
