LIFE SF6-FREE HV BREAKER
LIFE SF6-FREE HV BREAKER aims to apply g3 gas, an economically bearable alternative to SF6, to a circuit breaker which interrupter design we improve in parallel. The solution will be suitable for outdoor high voltage “live tank” circuit breaker (HVLTCB) from 245 kV/50 kA to 550 kV/50 kA. The solution will offer the potential to move towards the complete elimination of SF6 in high voltage air-insulated substations.
