GE Vernova is committed to reducing greenhouse gas emissions through its technical and technological research and innovation work. With the LifeGRID project, we are enabling electricity transmission and distribution companies to reduce their CO2 emissions by using a more sustainable gas, g³, in their high-voltage gas-insulated substations at 420 kilovolts. 420 kV is the highest voltage level. It builds the backbone of the European electrical grid.
