NEMO
The NEMO project aims to advance the state of the art of battery management systems (BMS) by engaging advanced physics-based and data-driven battery models and state estimation techniques. It leverages a wide range of sensor information acquired at high frequencies, in addition to dedicated electrochemical impedance spectroscopy (EIS) sensors that identify ongoing electrochemical reactions inside each battery cell. The availability of diverse physical information on batteries enables the development and validation of cutting-edge performance, lifetime, and safety models on two BMS configurations. The consortium provides efficient software and hardware solutions to process and execute these approaches using high-end local processors and cloud computing.
