PARITY addresses the “structural inertia” of existing distribution networks by delivering a transitional market and network framework that will increase the durability and efficiency of the electricity grid and facilitate the penetration of Renewable Energy Sources (RES) beyond the 50% of the generation mix in the distribution network.
Looking for efficient and transparent local flexibility transactions and reward flexibility in a symmetric way. It will allow the Distribution System Operator (DSO) to improve its management capabilities, network observability and RES hosting capacity.
