RES4CITY
About: Guided by its ambitious target to achieve carbon-neutrality by 2050, the EU is throwing a spotlight on the technology supporting this green transition while also focusing on the general skillset of the working force in terms of employing and mastering sustainable technologies. The EU-funded RES4CITY project envisions a codesigned educational framework for upskilling the workforce to integrate, influence, and combine the existing best practices for renewable energies and fuel technologies in the cities. RES4CITY will define microprogrammes, develop serious games for learning and training, establish the industry-academy programme, and analyse industry-based case studies. The programme will be developed and tested in coordination with public governance, industry, NGOs and citizens.
