SHAREs

Consumers are driving Europe's energy transition. But that's not all. They are also becoming renewable energy producers. In this context, the EU-funded SHAREs project will review the current requirements of becoming a prosumer to assess the potential risk of a two-speed energy world dividing the 'haves' from the 'have-nots'. On the one hand are those who have the knowledge, access and opportunity to become a prosumer. On the other hand, are those who lack the resources, know-how, education or time to participate in and benefit from the new opportunities. SHAREs will help local heroes to initiate an action and grow. A key initiative will be the design of a country-specific implementation toolkit to equip the local heroes with technical and logistic capacity.
