TwInSolar
The PIMENT public laboratory at the University of La Reunion lies in one of the outermost regions of Europe, Reunion Island. The EU-funded TwInSolar project aims at strengthening the laboratory’s research and innovation capacities by establishing new partnerships with two universities in mainland Europe: the Technical University of Denmark and the Fraunhofer Institute for Solar Energy Systems. The project will look in particular at issues related to integrated large-scale solar production in insular territories. It will also be supported by the Conference of Peripheral Maritime Regions and by Nexa, the regional research and innovation agency of Reunion Island.
