CIEMAT (Centro de Investigaciones Energéticas, Medioambientales y Tecnológicas) is a Public Research Organisation attached to the Ministry of Science and Innovation through the General Secretariat for Research, focusing mainly on the fields of energy and the environment and the technological fields related to both.
The I+D+i activity carried out is framed within the national and
international spheres, such as participation in EU programmes and cooperation with intergovernmental organisations and research centres in other countries. I+D+i is complemented by training activities, technology transfer, the provision of technical services and advice to the different administrations and the representation of Spain in various international forums.
