Aurélie Beauvais from Euroheat & Power explains why decarbonising heating and cooling is critical to improving Europe’s energy situation.
In an exclusive interview at Enlit Europe 2022, Aurélie Beauvais from Euroheat & Power speaks to Pamela Largue about how to decarbonise heating and cooling and why it’s critical to improving Europe’s energy situation.
Heating and cooling makes up about 50% of Europe's energy demand with more than 40% coming from natural gas.
Therefore, to effectively transition to renewables, while mitigating the impact of the energy crisis, the heating and cooling sector must employ renewable heat technology, recoup wasted heat and drive system integration with a sense of urgency.
