POWERful Women is a professional initiative that seeks to promote the growth and leadership development of women across the energy sector.
Every year POWERful Women, in partnership with PwC UK, reports on gender diversity at the top of the UK energy industry. The statistics reflect the number of women in board and executive director roles in the top 80 energy companies, focussing on the most significant employers in the UK energy industry.
POWERful Women aims to see 30% of executive board roles and 40% of middle management roles filled by women by 2030.
Since recording this podcast, Katie Jackson has left her position at Shell and is now President of National Grid Ventures.
