WeForming
WeForming aims to revolutionize energy management through the Intelligent Grid-Forming Buildings (iGFBs). Our objective is to transforming buildings from passive consumers into strategic players in managing the energy ecosystem.
WeForming will develop six demonstrators, each tailored to unique needs and perspectives, based onf 4 pillars:
First, the Operational pillar focuses on optimizing the functionality of iGFBs to maximize efficiency and predictability.
Second, Interoperability ensures seamless communication and data exchange between iGFBs and other energy stakeholders for a more connected energy ecosystem.
Third, the project explores New Business Models, creating sustainable and competitive frameworks for iGFBs and smart cities.
Finally, Smart City Enabling emphasizes regulatory analysis, societal and environmental impacts, and the promotion of innovative, interoperable solutions to accelerate the transition toward smarter, greener urban landscapes.
