Margarita Samsonova, environmental content creator and Young Energy Ambassador at the European Sustainable Energy Week (EUSEW), sat down with Yusuf Latief to talk about the role of education in the energy transition.
"I’m trying to bridge the gap between science and creativity,” said Samsonova, emphasizing that she attended EUSEW to represent creators, environmentalists and conservationists who she believes are underrepresented in the debate about the energy transition.

According to Samsonova, who is the founder of Margreen & Behind the Greens Media, bridging this gap will allow for more engaging and inclusive education and conversation. In addition, she advocates to start educating the youth at a younger age. Combining science and creativity will ensure that the youth is included and that the topic is interesting for them.
Topics around energy and the energy transition can be complex and complicated, notes Samsonova and that is why she believes that before focusing on a specific niche in the energy trilemma you need to first spike interest.
