Doosan Škoda Power wins turbine contract in Dominican Republic
Doosan Škoda Power has been awarded a contract to deliver a steam turbine for the Energas IV project in the Dominican Republic.

Czech Republic headquartered Doosan Škoda Power, who specialises in the manufacturing and supplying of power plant machinery, has been awarded a contract to deliver a steam turbine for the Energas IV project.
The project will take place in the Dominican Republic through Grupo TSK, a Spanish EPC company based in Gijon, Spain.
TSK is currently developing the Energas IV project in the Dominican Republic for ENERGAS. There are already 3 existing blocks in the San Pedro location generating a total of 300MW of electricity from gas and the aim of this project is to add a fourth block to generate an additional 125MW of electrical power.
In order to ensure safe and reliable operation, it is crucial to respect the particularly demanding conditions of the Dominican grid. Doosan Škoda Power will therefore design and manufacture the proven 45 MW DST-G20 single-body turbine at its plant in Pilsen. The delivery will also include the gearbox, generator and necessary auxiliary equipment.
